I suppose its better to buy the extra piece (s) , at least you'll have them , instead of the money going into thin air (grey dealers) :)

Thanks guys. Definitely over the moon with this. Love the Daytona and didn’t expect to get one so it was an awesome surprise. Im so excited about the DJ though (we wanted to get matching watches when we got married but didn’t) so that will be getting more wrist time in the near future.

We absolutely found a new AD for life. Not sure what watch/jewelry will be next but we will enjoy working with them to pick it out:)

I think the DJ36 is now a 3235. Not sure if this is all DJ 36 or just the 126283RBR. At least that’s what AD told me and the Rolex specs say:) I’ll take their word for it and not investigate on my own. But you are correct, probably more apt to say ‘His N Hers’ than matching :)

Interesting. I believe mine is a 126233. Regardless, I’m a happy camper.

So, if I understand this correctly - you weren't looking for a Daytona, and didn't ask for a Daytona, and the AD just offers you one.

If so, the entire process has gone off the rails.

Congrats.

Huge congrats all the way around. You can wear the Daytona for the next 21 years before he gets it, right? ;)

Father’s Day Triple Incoming!!!

Congrats on the watches and baby boy on the way! I picked up the same DJ36 as you this weekend myself except mine is the outgoing 116233 with hidden clasp. Diamonds aren’t for everyone one but on the dial it’s subtle and I love it.

*Edit - Just noticed yours is the DJ41 126333
