Incoming OP39 White
Well I sold my Datejust II and Airking 116900 in anticipation of getting a black Daytona-C from my AD. They said it would be about 6mos or maybe sooner to get it (back in May). I went down to just my Sub-C date and felt the void of not having my 3 watch collection. Stopped in to the AD to chat and asked if they had the new OP39 because I really liked it from the moment I saw it on the Rolex website during the Basel release. Also was thinking of adding something with a white face to balance the other two black dials. AD went to the back and said they had just received one in a shipment and came out with it still in the plastic coffin... Well I decided to get it!
Really liking this watch! Love the brushed links, almost ivory white face and find it to be the perfect size. Definitely thinking this is my new daily watch. Last edited by martinscott; 19 June 2018 at 08:23 AM.. Reason: grammar |

I originally thought these new black and white OP39s were just a new dial color, but I noticed the other day that they have uniform baton markers all the way around the dial. The prior 3 color variants had the lumed markers at 3, 6, 9.
Anyway, looks great! Congrats! |
