I'm not sure and haven't given it much thought, I can see myself wearing them until I get too old to appreciate them or unable to read the dial's,

I do recall a story of two divers, one of which was dying, on his death bed he made his dive buddy promise to lay his Rolex on the seabed of his favorite dive spot, who knows that if in years to come there wont be a thread titled "Found this whilst diving!"

My first dive watch, circa 1978 - 10th birthday in Switzerland where I fell in love with watches...and especially this one. I saw it in the window and asked my parents for it. My dad introduced me to the love of mechanical watches. I was still very surprised to receive it.

Then this one...given to me by my wife on my 50th.

The Tudor GMT goes to my eldest son. The Grand Seiko to my youngest son. The Gruen to my eldest daughter and the Timex Marlin to my youngest daughter.

Mine is this unworn Heuer Camaro. My Dad led sales for Champion and they had a partnership with Heuer in the late 60’s/early 70’s. This came from him and I will never let it go. It started my fascination with watches of all kinds.

I have some I plan to be heirlooms, 2 watches for each of my kids (packaging them evenly of course!) and unless I have a niece or nephew from my side that shows an interest in them I’ll probably liquidate the rest

At least that’s the plan for now

Yes, my 16610. My mother gave it to me Christmas 98, and was with my when I got engaged, married, honeymoon, birth of my sons, and some funerals. It will always be with me.

Oris Artelier 112, Ten Day power reserve. It was a gift from my wife, and it cost as much as a Rolex!

2. Omega matching with my wife I got on our first wedding anniversary
3. Daytona that I purchased to mark my first million dollar transaction.
4. DJ36 that I got when I turned 35 and my son turned 1.

The rest of my stuff will go to my son
