JLC Master Control Questions

Is the Master Control (the non-sector dial) considered a true dress watch? To me it seems like a bit of a sporty dress watch. I don't dress terribly formal very often so a sporty dress watch is perfect for me.

Also, is there any issue with buying a JLC without a warranty card? I'd love to hear some comments and see some pictures from anyone who has this watch please.

Thanks,

Mike

I should clarify that I'm looking at the time/date variant.

I would classify it as a dress watch, albeit not the most formal dress watch. It sounds like it would be a perfect fit for you.

I tried it on and it was too large for me, even though by todays standard 39mm isnt big. Opted for the reverso which is more of a gentlemens size in my opinion

It is a great in between watch, looks formal and has a pulsometer instead of tach which further makes it more dressy. I actually bought it but it had a floppy hour counter so I returned it and bought a Master Control Compressor Chronograph 2 instead. My example was a bad lemon but it remains to see how robust this in-house movement from JLC is in long run.
