I was scratching my head about why a woman would be receiving a Best Man's watch at a wedding...then I read the thread and saw I'd already posted in it. Damn tricky language.

Did you mean to say Tudor Black Bay 58?

If so that must be the first one in the wild.

Did you take any photos?

I just bought a YM 37 and it looks great. I originally went in for a DJ and came out with this lovely piece. I have tiny wrists and it’s not overwhelming. It’s dressy, casual, sporty...goes with everything. So I would saw a YM would make a great watch for women

Your girl is a woman of taste. I’m all for wearing whatever makes one happy, but whenever I see a woman with a large watch, I hear my very genteel grandmother saying “a woman of taste and discretion would not choose to wear a bulky men’s watch.”

My wife just tried this on and loved it, I think that will be her next watch. It's a really cool piece and looks good on you!

Personally, I think the Daytona looks way too big, same with the above photo of celebrity. Looks terrible in my opinion.

The 5167 looks ok but that watch wears small on many men at the same time.

Recently got my wife a 116519LN, small rubber straps and they go down more perpendicularly than the bracelet so there is less of a gap. Added bonus, since she's my wife its half mine and I was able to add larger size rubber straps to the purchase .

Take her to an AD and let her choose what she likes.

Personally I use the general rule 34mm is a "unisex" size, anything below woman's and anything above men.

Any ad will tell you they sell as many 36mm djs to women as they do to men these days. They almost consider it unisex at this point. I'm personally not a fan of men's watches on women, and think the 31mm dj is the ideal women's rolex. Unless you have an especially large-sized woman.....

my wife wears my daytona 116520, and i bought her a gmt master YG green dial. Daytona fits her smallish wrist better overall..

YMs come in 37 and 35...you can source 29s too. It’s an amazing reference.

I’m with you! I’m skinny with small wrists and I bought this exact (and incredible) YM 6 months ago from DavidSW. I love the 37. It fits me perfectly and I think the 2236 movement beats the 3186 in my BLNR (though they’re both Rolexes, so the baseline is pretty amazing).

Yours looks great on you!

My daily is the 16610 Sub. I have a 26 mm date just that I never wear. Some of the guys here are very opinionated about what’s male and what’s female. I say if I can buy it and I can pull it off then why not.

My husband isn’t into watches and wears a $500 Seiko. It’s funny and a little sexist when people assume I’m wearing his watches.

Well said. Bummer to read many of these narrow minded comments. 5 digit subs, gmts and Daytonas are super universal for many genders and body types. 11610lv and 116520 are my picks. And ya awesome taste.
