5146g
Does anyone have a 5146G-001?
I’m toying with a Patek purchase (used) for around about this bracket, to complement my Calatrava and Aquanaut. Any experiences of it? Thanks.

I used to own one.
Great reference. As mentioned, preowned is a proper value for money. |

Since OP is purchasing one pre-owned and not at retail price, not sure if resale price is such a big deal if he can purchase it at a great price. As we repeatedly say in this forum, purchase it at the "right price"!
Be aware the earlier versions of the 5146G-001 had a different deployant clasp compared to current models. Also as with all preowned Pateks, ask if it has been serviced before. If not, consider the cost of servicing it. As always, check if it comes with box and papers. If it was serviced by Patek, you should also try to find out if it was serviced due to damage or just routine maintenance. Best of luck! It is a great watch! |

5146 is a great reference. I have seen mark Hearn and Adrian Lurshay wearing that reference.

I have a 5146 G slate dial. Love the piece. Classic Patek and great proportions. It fits best on my wrist out of any other piece i own. Only regret, I purchased new at close to retail. Value has tanked.

5146G grey dial or 5146P are great values preowned. You have to think at current prices most of the depreciation has occurred.

Always depends on the price.
Beautiful watch that grows on you. Very underrated and undervalued. Get it while it lasts. Despite its dressy image I find it extremely versatile and under the radar. By now everybody knows aquanaut and nautlius a mile away. I put mine on a black strap which I found made a huge difference (you can check my insta for pics) |
