Well, I can finally say I have a panerai. I have always loved the looks, but I could never seem to pull the trigger. I decided to give this one a try and man, I cant believe I overlooked this brand for so long. I decided to go for the 682. It just seemed to fit my wrist so well. I also preferred the jumping hour hand that I use quite frequently. I just wanted to share something new. It’s my anti corona watch, well at least I hope so.

I have the same one and love it. You know you can swap out straps with different colors like blue and white very easily also. Congratulations. Also fantastic pictures. Well done sir.

Thanks guys, it’s a good feeling to branch out the collection and get something you always wanted to try. I kinda of feel guilty buying something of luxury with everything the world is going through right now, but sometimes the little treats in life are what keeps us going.

Congratulations on your new Pam.

I have a similar story. I purchased few weeks ago my very first Panerai, PAM 233 dot dial, and am very pleased with the watch. My 233 is 12 years old but was running very accurately at +1 s/d. I thought that this was indicative of a very solid and robust movement which is a huge plus in my book. Nonetheless I took it to Richemont for a complete service as it was never serviced before. I should have it back in 4 weeks or so.

The only kind of negative remark I could make is that the watch is not a fine timepiece, there is no finesse. The dial looks kind of plasticy, case is machine finished, and the movement has no finishing at all, just so industrialistic. I know it's meant to be a tool watch and all but when the watch is priced at $13,000 the customer should expect something more for that kind of price point. At 5K to 7k these watches would be a huge hit but in my opinion at current prices hugely overpriced.

In any case, I think I am a new Paneristi and can't wait to get my Pam back from service. Very cool and unique looking watches, with a great, reliable, and robust movement.

I did have the wow feeling the first time I put it on my wrist. I acquired a 116610 back in January, but I only sized it and wore it home. I can’t seem to take the panerai off my wrist.

Got the white and the light blue strap. Both straps really change the look of the watch. Love my Rolex watches but starting to really like the versatility of the PAM682!
