Cobra Kai on Netflix
Anyone else loving this? Me and my wife have been really enjoying this reboot. It's fairly mindless TV that serves it's purpose at the end of the night with a glass of wine.
Usually don't enjoy everyone recycling the past but this has been pretty entertaining so far. Like what they did with the story line.

This show is on my list. I liked those movies back in the day and want to see what this is all about.

I'm addicted!!! I loved Karate Kid back in the day, and I think the show actually has some very interesting critiques of modern society compared to back in the 80s.

My wife and I are almost finished with season two. We like it. Definitely worth watching.

It’s a great show. Great writing.
A good display of two sides to every story and how communication is key to developing good relationships.

I haven’t gotten through it yet but I like the character development in the first several episodes.

I liked it. Just sort of good old kinda corny old times sort of feel to it that you don’t get in a lot of shows these days.

It is a fun show. On season 2 watching a couple episodes per night before bed. Reaffirms how annoying Daniel Larussa was ; )
Also very good is Netflx: Away

I just finished both seasons in a few days, was totally hooked. Was not expecting it to be what it actually turned out to be.
Absolutely great concept, story and funny too. Great entertainment! |

That's the best part. I haven't seen the show in question, but we can control what we watch. And most of the time, we just want to be entertained, not have a message driven into our heads. Whether we agree with the message or not.

Hooked on it, stayed up late last night to finish the first season. Starting season 2 and I’m sensing there’s a bad influence around here...

As a kid, I loved the movie, but as an adult I don't care for the Netflix series. I've only seen two episodes though. Not sure if I can do any more. |

I thought it was a decent series. Worth the watch.
Also, I agree that Daniel was the bully in the original movie and was also the bully in the Cobra Kai series.

I wouldn't really call Daniel the bad guy in this, actually there is no really bad person in the series (maybe except the "other" sensei). Each character has their good and bad moments, not the typical good vs bad, which makes it so much more enjoyable. Everyone has their own back story to why they are what they are.
