My Sub
Like new D Serial, which I bought from a very reputable TZ seller. One of the reasons I bought used was that I did not want to experience putting the first scratch on the watch, but the thing was so mint that I still had the unfortunate honor. I never really missed the date on my Seiko 7a28, so I figured I wouldn't miss it on the Sub, plus I like the cleaner dial. |

Very nice, Ed.
That's about as iconic a Rolex as they come.

I like your watch a lot and would like to have one. After seeing Subs with more bling, serti dials with diamonds and sapphires and even solid gold versions, I have even more appreciation for that understated beauty. A watch like that is simply the very definition of cool, which is something that the others with all the bling miss completely.
After all, it was certainly a perfect fit for this fellow! |

That Sub is a keeper..
If you were to only have one sport watch, the Sub should be that one.. |

Thanks, all. I'm having fun with it. Did you know the metal part of a door latch is exactly at Rolex level?

Makes me miss my first, a 14060 as well. Clean dial, classic Rolex case and look. I know what you mean about doorknobs (and latches). I've had a couple accidental altercations w/doorknobs before. Always annoying but... after all, it's a tool, not a jewel. Enjoy and don't sweat the 'patina'. Looks like it can easily be polished out. As you can see, mine was pretty 'well loved' as well. May you enjoy yours half as much as I enjoyed mine.
