New to watch collecting. Feedback welcome!

Hi, this is officially my first post here. Great community and excited to learn a lot from others. Picked up my first in my collection 2 years ago with sub 114060. Added the other 5 watches within the last couple months. I’ve been collecting modern versions what I’ve found are considered the most important/iconic models of a brand loosely. To me it’s a way of introducing myself to the brand.

Suggestions for what other brands to venture into and what model to acquire?

The next 2 on my list are a Heuer Monaco Calibre 11 and JLC Reverso (still trying to decide which reference).

Thanks,
Sam

Awesome collection so far. I’m a huge fan of that Santos as well! Just picked up a blue dial last month and over the moon about it.

Welcome to the forums, and I agree....a GMT complication would round it out nicely.

Ditto the GMT. Maybe one with some colour, like a Pepsi

Added a couple watches. Reverso and Grand Seiko. Suggestions for GMT, I totally agree, would like to add one at some point.

I agree that a Reverso would fill a nice niche as a dress watch

Nice collection? What’s the 411 on the straight-lugged Speedy?
