Breitling Summit Webcast scheduled for Nov 17th

Breitling has sent out an email for a Summit Webcast next week. No new aerospace as some had hoped for, but a new collection. From what I have heard it will be a 46mm chronograph with a striking resemblance to the 765 re-edition. The models will be aviation based with design cues from previous models including the "Mosquito and Curtiss Warhawk". Obviously a lot larger than previous models and if true, I wonder who provided the major influence for a watch of this size. Definitely would be a step in another direction for Breitling!

For what its worth the blue dialed one is really nice!!!

46mm… why? Who’s asking for bigger watches these days?

I have seen snippets/images of WWII planes such as the Corsair F4U, the Mustang P51, but I have not seen anything with the actual watches.

I assumed it was going to be more Aviator 8 chronographs with different WWII fighters, like the Aviator 8 Chronograph 43 Curtiss Warhawk model currently available.

Please share if you can -- I'm interested in seeing the blue dial watch you mentioned.

If I remember correctly the blue faced watch was named after the P51, but I could be mistaken!

Interesting, going by the color scheme of the planes I would have assumed the Corsair would be blue. Can’t wait for Wednesday!

That's the thing with Breitling, they put out some great watches, and then they turned around something inexplicable.

Thanks to someone on Instagram, who appears to have spilled the beans early, the announcement will be for a new line called the Super Aviator 8 46 GMT.
