My Christmas tree
For generations my family (wealthy) has cut their own trees. Here’s one for this year.
Is yours nice too? |

Sadly the forest I used to cut down my Christmas trees burned to the ground.
It's so hard to find nice old growth trees this year, that I'll probably just jet off to Hawaii for Christmas. I always admired a nicely decorated Palm tree.

It is amazing these grow faster than a Rolex is made and all the people (non wealthy) complain about our show of love for them by taking them to safety.
Facts. |

We had to downsize to Ponderosa Pines a few years ago. We started putting the tree in the kitchen and not the den, there wasn't room for the 300 seat IMAX theater and a Sequoia... it got in the way of watching Seinfeld reruns.

Wow, that's beautiful, Chewy. Very, very impressive.
Don't tell anyone, but we have a small Christmas Tree farm that has been passed on through the family. Although it's on the tiny side, about the size of Rhode Island, we've been actively building an airport for easier access. It's unfortunately tucked in the moutains of northern Hungaria, so we've had to access it through our fleet of expidition vehicles, which has become a real PITA. This new airport we're building though should do the trick since the runway is long enough to land one of our custom 747s on. We're just now trying to decide if we want to paint the runway in gold flake or something else. My mum is so stubborn. She wants the runway to be made of rubies so we can see it glitter as we fly in. So dumb.

Not to lord it over anyone, but I try to be a little more eco-conscious by using live trees.
We'll decorate with four or five every season. At first, some of my neighbors complained, but after all these years, most know they're free to replant them back come January.

Yeah, I really don't get the fascination at all. But hey... it's my mum and we did something similar with a highrise we financed and built a few years ago.

Might take you until the new year to cut that one down. I’d get to chopping if I were you.

My God that was impressive. When I have to fall a tree in close proximity to a structure or something I don’t want to mess up I tie a strap to it and pull it in the direction I want. Those guys are next level. Sent from my Apple privacy invasion product |

Much like watches the thrill with trees is more about the chase. I like cutting them down. Before I get a chance to decorate it’s on to the next one.
My family (very very wealthy) mostly spends our time in the Amazon living out our dreams 100,000 trees at a time.

It was fun because you so expected the damn thing to cream one of the structures, or both.

That’s awesome some of my friends went to college too. I was a Nobel Laureate by 14 and Oxford awarded me an honorary doctorate for my participation in their study on extremely large phallus bearing males.

We will probably just order a tree from the first-growth forrest on our family plantation. It is called Tasmania. It's a fairly big tree and will require a good sized ship to get it across Bass Strait. An aircraft carrier will do the job, but Australia doesn't have too many of these so we might have to ask our old family friend the American President to loan us one of his.
We've got some nice decorations lined up for it - acquired after the Beijing Olympics. The lights were used to illuminate the Sydney Harbour Bridge last New Years Eve. There are quite a few of them so the family bought a Hydro-electric plant in the Snowy Mountains to ensure there is sufficient power to keep it lit for a week or so. After Christmas we might buy a few saw mills and turn it into frames for several hundred new homes - look after our community obligations. Just a low-key effort this year.

Everyone in Harvard calls themselves that.
Some sort of overcompensation tactic.
