Picked hesalite as it gives more of a vintagey feel with the more domed crystal and is closer to the origins of the moon watch

Either version are winners. New bracelet is a huge upgrade from the previous version. In terms of comfort and look. Not to mention the ballistic nylon is comfortable as well.

Congrats. It’s my favorite watch by far. I’m a sandwich guy as I like the applied logo and sapphire case back. To me, the only thing sharp on the watch is its looks. Bracelet is great, plus you can throw the a50 bracelet on with uncle seiko end links, and it’s pretty great on the NTTD mesh as well.

There really isn’t a strap that it doesn’t look good on.

How are people finding the accuracy of the new 3861 compared to the older 1861 versions?
Well, mine when I was checking regularly (and winding and wearing regularly) was less than +0.5 seconds a day.

Super accurate with a vintage feel. 3861 is a winner.

Picked up a 3861 Hesalite this week, loving it. Accuracy so far is 1-2 s per day, comfort is amazing.

We each got Speedmasters for Christmas. Husband got the hesalite version and says it’s the most comfortable watch he has ever owned. The hesalite has a nice warm tone to it. I got the blue dial 38mm version and am very happy with it.
