Show us your MILSUB's!

Hi, haven't seen many milsubs getting showtime, so thought we should have a thread showcasing your milsubs, some history and paperwork pics too if possible:)

10 out of 10 for idea, but i dont imagine there will be many responses unfortunately! ceratinly not too many 'real' ones left as far as i know

I've got a nice set of three here with me, but wrapped up tight for trip back to Europe , fraud you'll have to wait for me to get to London for a group shot.

In the meantime, biggest, baddest bestest ... The BBC 5517
SBS watch with full on maxi mk1 dial
....When they wheel me out to my hole in the ground this'll be on my wrist

Wow, that 5517's a beauty Jed with an awesome story too, you plan carrying that stunner to the ground? I can meet you at heaven's gates to take it off you, you wouldn't want it confisticated;).

Here is mine...Full spec'd Henry Hudson and RSC Bexley warranty card 5513 from Chatham Dockyard. One of the last Mr. Hudson certified before retirement. Also- Jed- amazing piece you have there of course!!

heres my one , fully spec 5513 with hudson papers etc , pic below when i picked it up from london
after getting a movement service from rsc london
we were very fortunate to have mr hudson who was passionate about his job
and these watches , he is sorely missed here in the Uk after he retired this yr

Just be careful, Bechamel sauce (or is it carrot cake?) is a real bugger to wash out of your NATO strap, no matter how hard you suck...

How many were issued? I know everyone always talks about that there aren't many left but didn't the British Military issue a lot? I am missing somthing here. A little info would be great to learn. Thanks!
