I wouldn’t expect an all new rendition but having a commerative dial or two is possible. Coming out with true Panda/reverse Panda black and white dials on the SS would break the internet.

I agree, a true panda would be great.

I agree with the aesthetics part. But if patents are anything to go by, I’m nearly sure there’ll be a new movement powering the next Daytona (aka 4230) and it might very well be “chronergy” based. I realise most patents won’t not make it to real life products but these are very interesting and all published within the last two years. https://patents.google.com/patent/EP...graph&sort=new https://patents.google.com/patent/EP...graph&sort=new https://patents.google.com/patent/EP...graph&sort=new Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Door stop. Prevent accidental push under water. They provide no seal or waterproofing feature whatsoever. It's just a fancy nut riding on a threaded rod.

Still…your idea is credible - a novel water resistance approach for Daytona pushers is overdue. Today the screwdown is an idiot-proof feature. Yet other means seems to be worth exploring. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

We no chance of them changing the case size. I could easily see the ceramic put on the full gold models and possibly something different to the Platona. Who knows tho....

Most likely, Rolex will just release a special green coloured dial, if anything at all.

It won’t be a big splash release, maybe in 41 years. If they did anything, maybe a green bezel version to compliment Starbucks and the lefty GMT. My money is on no big releases at the entry level, instead doing something in PM.

To prevent accidental operation, either under water or on dry land. That's all the screwed collar does. Equally, it they should never be over tightened.
The pushers are 100m water rated irrespective of where the screwed collar is. Operation of the pushers underwater may enable water ingress past both o rings (perhaps moreso due to the design of the stem) It's a secondary measure, rather than a primary one

I would also welcome a SS Daytona II in a 42mm size, they could use the case of the existing YM42. Ideally with less lettering on the dial.
