I’ll need to see the picture of this clandestine meeting. Feel free to blur faces to protect the innocent — but is anyone really “innocent” here?

Without knowing what was on the menu, it's hard to meaningfully evaluate the threat level.

Really, you don’t say. I mean it’s really been a mystery how all these gray deals get BNIB rolex models.

Good work.

First step is going to be to contact your attorney and get fresh eyes on your casework so far.

Next call the police. We pay taxes for a reason it ain’t for schools and roads. It’s so that we can use the police department as a tool for our vengeance on local businesses.

Third, alert the media. You will want to take the upper hand in controlling the narrative and the best way to do that is to get out in front of this.

You caught this rat with his paws on the cheese and now it’s time to collect a pelt for your wall.

Fair point - I was referencing greys uplifts but did a bad job. Wasn’t meaning ADs.

With that update hope people can relax about the grey market (as we call it incorrectly)

It’s ironic, nobody complains when a grey pays us 2x of MSRP for a watch we want to move out of our safe

Of course the AD has relationships with grey dealers. How do you think they move enough inventory to keep the Rolex rep happy enough to keep supplying the AD with choice models?

One would think the “general public” demand would move as well and keep the “Rolex rep” happy. Maybe I’m wrong.

The "general public" normally won't offer large incentives to sell them a watch.

Agreed.

They are both in the watch industry. It mist be nice to have a kindred spirit who can discuss brushed versus PCL, oyster or jubilee, or the price and availability of Daytonas, over lunch.
