Besides Bobs Watches who Else Buys Rolex?

And is reputable? I have a watch I want to move on with but I’m not particularly fond of Bobs. Any other places like Bobs?

I’d reach out to the folks in charge of the Moda Watch Club Facebook group.

Do you have any ADs or reputable jewelers in your area?

I've used Crown & Caliber (now Hodinkee I guess) before for some lower priced watches (e.g., Grand Seiko) when compared to a Rolex. Process is very straight forward, but don't expect a market value. I've seen about 75% of the eventual resell price as a norm, but that only a few data points.

Have reached out to a few trusted sellers which, if I'm being honest, either weren't interested in what I was selling (again, non-rolex models) or who offered less.

Doing the private selling route via the forums has always scared me as well, though honestly not sure why.

I've sold to Tropical Watch, HQMilton (although they have not been responsive lately) and Watchbox. Some places are not buying at the moment though. Last watch I sold was to Watchbox and it was a smooth transaction

Bob’s was considerably higher than anyone else when I sold a Speedmaster DSOTM and Tudor BB36.

They were super fast and easy to work with.

Once you’re done with the deal, can you let us know who offered and who refused — and the model?

I’ve seen lots of talk about the various resellers refusing to buy as of late.

I've tried to become a member for about 6 months now. Not exactly a piece of cake. They assume you're a Chinese/Russian 'bot' unless you're some heavy Facebook user (I don't live my life on social media so hence I "must" be a bot - I guess they don't count LinkedIn )

Here is my list.
