I personally prefer the rubber strap on this watch a whole lot more than the bracelet. The bracelet would be an additional expense that would never get used. However if this is the only combo I could find, I might be willing to pay the extra expense to get the watch.

There were others before me.
However I do like to think of myself as the bearer of glad tidings.

Seriously this thread is evil...
I must have an Aquanaut. I used to want a 5712 but when I tried it on it just felt a bit formal for me and I have a silly hang up on WR rating with sports watches and the limited WR of the 5712 kinda turned me off. At first I thought it was a must have (sports watch with complications) for me but when I got it on it just did not sing to me and I always thought the Aquanaut was not for me but I made the BIG mistake of trying one on and reading here in the forums that people actually will wear their Aquanaut when swimming or out and about and now it is on my MUST HAVE soon list! The Aquanaut replaced the DD/DDII on my next acquisition list, I can wait till I grow up a bit more for a DD or DD II

I would highly recommend checking it out in person if you have yet to do so. It really is a lot different than most other SS sports watches. I think most people do not realize how thin it really is. It's 40 mm in diameter, but the case is pretty thin.

It's thin. And it's small(er) than you might expect. It's a PP, so all is well, but do try as Dan said. |
