More 5167 pics

Hi All -
Recent member - I didn't realize there was such a strong PP following within the Rolex forum! Great information and discussion threads.

Thought I'd add in some shots - esp. one of the clasp, which I always find impressive. I have another PP with white gold deployant clasp that is just stunning....

5167 is just a perfect watch for me. Love it so much I actually purchased two and figured I'd have a rubber / steel available to rotate. I've found the rubber strap so comfortable I'm leaning towards just keeping one now. We'll see....

Hi All -
I'm relatively new to TRF - didn't realize there is such a strong PP following on a Rolex site! This is a great resource with some valuable discussion threads.

Attaching here some pics of my 5167. I included a shot of the band and clasp as I find that an important design element along with the watch movement and face. I have another PP with a deployant clasp and I find myself smiling when I look down and catch a glimpse....

Like others on the forum have mentioned, I find the rubber strap to be very comfortable and easy to wear. I actually bought two 5167s with the intention of having one on a bracelet - but I've had no motivation to change from the tropical strap as a regular wear.

What a spectacular timepiece!

Welcome

Great picture, and marvelous choice.

Two, is one of them in RG?

Thanks -

No, they are both 5167/A actually. Yes - it's kind of goofy.

Luckily, I'm blessed with a very understanding wife....

Your PP is really looking good John, welcome to the forum. I am sure you'll enjoy it here. It's not only about Rolex, but all high end wristwatches are mentioned here. It's a wonderful community here.
Thanks for sharing your photographs with us, we love seeing those nice wristwatches

Can the 5167's movement take as much of a beating as a subC movement? This question is only about the movements in both watches. Not about cases.

Can the 5167 movement take as much of a beating as a Sub movement? Or are they more delicate?
