Electricity is not something I'm going to mess around with. Change a bulb, maybe replace a switch or plug. Adding crap, new wiring, dimmers, etc., HELL no.
I'd kill myself or burn the house down or both.
I don't clean my gutters or do any high ladder or significant tree work either. Too easy to end my career. Though I do have a good own occupation disability policy just in case.
