Does anyone know if the crosswind special has a replaceable crown tube, as buk service say my threads are damaged and i need a new middle case and crown. I thought the tube was replaceable, thanks for any advice.

Thank you, yes very surprised at quote of work needed including new middle case just over £1000, I have always taken care winding and never thought there was an issue, I sent in for full service as it was well due and gaining time. Should return like new though.
