ERA Prometheus Tourbillon?

Saw this watch pop up on a YouTube video and was wondering if anyone has grabbed one of these yet? Relative to most tourbillon watches this one seems like it would be pretty affordable. Does anyone have any experience with ERA and what do folks think about the quality of the movement?

Admittedly I haven’t done much research on the company, seems like it started from a kickstarter a couple years ago and they are doing there manufacturing in China...I’m skeptical to say the least.

I'm curious to their after sales department. I think that is going to be a nightmare to service in 10+ years. Expensive paperweight.

That’s what my concern was as well, thanks as always Bas.

It’s a $1,500 watch with margin built in to help fund their operational side of the business.

Someone was watching Producer Michaels infomercial. It was some really bad acting.

In general I think his videos are if nothing else, entertaining. He says in the video that it’s a good looking watch and affordable as far as a tourbilon goes...and I don’t really disagree with either of those points.

With any high end complication like this it’s the small details which make the difference.
