Houston Rolex/watch recommendations
I'm flying into Houston, Texas, tomorrow to catch the Rockets game with some friends but I've got some time to kill during the day. I haven't been to Houston in a long time but I was thinking of browsing around the Westin Galleria to check out some Rolexes and Pateks. Sadly no APs in town. Who's got the best selection of Rolexes (or any other nice watches) other than Tourneau?
Thanks! Mike |

Check out Ben Bridge, great staff and a wide selection... I tried on the ceramic Daytona last time I was there.

As for other nice watches, there's an Omega boutique and at least one other I know of that is a dealer for brands such as Tissot, Raymond Weil, Hamilton, etc etc. Also a Swatch store, which is always a fun place to visit if you're into that kind of thing.

Tourneau definitely has terrible service. I've experienced it a few times.

agree on tourneau, excellent selection, but snooty (even when I'm in a nice suit and they are working a retail counter??) there about a week ago, guys helping me when his manager comes up to him and dresses him down for screwing up some guys special order. wrong on so many levels.
for some houston ambiance, just up the street is el patio (6444 Westheimer), go into "club no minor" and have a frozen margarita! |

Considering Houston is the 4th largest city in the US, we don't have a lot of good options around. As mentioned before Tonrneau might be the "best" selection but no to buy.
There are some others but don't expect to see anything out of this world. We do have a AP AD (Lewis Jewlers) but I have never been there so I don't know how many AP"s they have in stock. |

Hey Mike I would check IW Marks. It's south of the galleria about 4 miles. They have a good selection. For food recomendation I would hit pappasitos for fajitas and a margarita. Ask for the kitchen flour tortillas with your fajitas. They are bigger and thinner than the standard ones they serve. There is also a new El Tiempo on navigation st east of downtown that has incredible Mexican food too. It's pretty close to the rockets arena. Big Texas welcome to you and I hope you enjoy your stay here.
