Big block ?? What's more desirable/better?
Looking into getting a 79260. What's the difference between a prince model with Tudor logos and the model where it has the rolex signature back and stamp on winder. Excuse my ignorant terminology please.

The 79260 isn't a Big Block. Pretty much everything you need to know can be found here, from post #11 onwards. Well worth a read: http://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=40866

The 2 I'm looking at are both the same model. Just one has the rolex insignias and the other all Tudor. Both similar condition and price. Curious which is the better buy for the long run

the all Rolex (crown and case-back) is more desirable. Big-block 791xx models more desirable.

At 11:14 the video shows the 79260 oysterdate dial with modern Daytona case. I think it will be a future classic. Last of the Rolex/Tudor Pre tiger Chronograph models. |
