Comex interest/information.
Hi
Last week I was speaking with a retired diver who had been employed by Comex and he told me that he had been contacted out of the blue by an Italian gentleman who wanted to know if he had any watches and if they were for sale. He said that apparently this gentleman/company had obtained a list of Comex employees and were contacting them in an attempt to purchase watches.

Crazy... as prices continue to rise, people are going to great lengths to get their hands on anything!

Comexes seem to have rallied a bit. For several years it seemed like interest had waned a bit but Philipps just auctioned a 5514 that went for almost 100k CHF incl premium. The more common 16600's are going for higher numbers than a couple of yrs ago. 16610's seem steady and the real exotic 1665 and 16660's have really flown again. I missed the opt for a mint 16660 a few years ago at around 75k and they are back into the low 100's...
