1665 Great White Mk4 Dial?
I am trying to see what dial is this 1665 Great White. Everything I read from this site points me towards this is a MK4 dial. http://www.drsd.com/watch-info/white...eadweller.html However, I noticed that on this dial, the fonts seem to be bolder/thicker? Also, I noticed the fonts have a lot of serifs while the MK4 dial on www.drsd.com does not. Please share your views. |

Found an old thread:
https://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=157233 ***Bottom Line: If the "f" italicized ends above the "E" in Superlative and has T<25 etc.. then it is a Mark IV dial which was used in the last of the 1665 and as a Service Dial and were TRITIUM until the late 1990's when they had the exact same markings, but were Luminova which can be determined by a strong glow and a smooth, white, non-patina plot. Period.*** Could a T25 marking dial actually a Luminova? |
