Day date, linen pie pan. Will i like it?
i have seen one and initially i thought no, its got to be regular champagne,
but i am starting to think differently, i am starting to think, why not? What do others think? please dont be afraid to be honest? i am not sensitive over material things. thanks. |

The only thing that matters is what YOU think - not what others tell you what THEY want you to think.

I like the pie pan linen dials I own a linen date-just from 1968
and it is my favorite watch for special occasions. Every (ref. 1803) combination has a different vibe + i am hunting for a linen pie-pan with a hacking second, not a easy task ! Greetings from Germany MaG |

Lovely dial.
Now that I think about it, I've still got that dial tucked away somewhere. :) (not for sale) |

I wish. Like everyone else I let so many things slip through my fingers over the years. I'll tell you how bad it was, I just noticed the second linen is not the same dial as on the watch and I don't even remember having two of them! The watch in the pic later became this one. I had the lugs polished to make my Rolex Calatrava. lol
We had fun with Rolex before they became semi-religious items of worship. :) |

Beautiful. I'm the same. I have a box of Rolex/Tudor inserts, links and crystals that I don't remember getting and have no idea where they came from...
Wasn't that dial oxblood before? It appears to be blue now... |

Different watches, that linen was actually an 1807 with a smooth bezel. Here's the 1802 with the oxblood stella. I still have this one, the 1807 ended up in Sweden and the new owner re-brushed the lugs!
