who knows more about this wonderfull Patek philippe ?

I love this watch very much. I would love to see it one day irl.

afaik it is an extremely rare platinum piece but I would like to know more about the availability. On some forums I read they will make this watch 4 years, but a very few number per year. What is a few ? 50 per year ? 150 ? 250 ? 500 ?
On other forums some people said it is impossible to get. They will dicontinue this platinum chronograph at basel 2009. I think the first examples were delivered half 2008.So this would mean less than 1 year production.

I can't afford such a watch but I would LOVE to see one irl
Will I ever get the chance to see one at the AD ?

Thanks,
L

The 5070P as pictured is being produced in extremely small numbers and some rumours are floating about that it's been discontinued already.

The chances of seeing one at an AD, or any 5070 at all, is virtually zero.

thanks for your answer.

I know it is impossible to see a gold 5070 because they are officially discontinued.
But the 5070P could still be in production. I know I will never see one in a window shop because those watches are always spoken.
But I hope to see one . I mean, I ordered a Daytona and I'm still waiting. But my dealer called me when he had a daytona in his shop. The daytona was for a client who ordered it long before me but at least I was able to see one.
It would be great if a Patek dealer could do the same. I will never buy it, it's not for my budget , but I would love to see one.

I called a few dealers to ask this but they answered that they did not get a 5070P and they are not sure they will ever get one.

Patek dealers are pretty discreet with their watches in that they would be kept in the factory seal until the customer picks it up. They won't hand it around for people to look at and handle. But if you really want to see one, then go to Geneva and visit the Salon, where you can try on all current production Pateks, though not all are for sale.
