Once or twice a week I'll rinse the entire watch in warm water, scrub with a soft tooth brush and Dawn dish soap, a quick dry then a liberal spray with Veraet cleaner, scrub with the brush again, good rinse then dry with a micro fiber cloth. Sounds like it takes longer than it does, maybe 4 -5 minutes. A true labor of love!
I pay special attention to the bracelet links to remove the "cheese" that might have accumulated there since it attracts abrasive grit and I always scrub "with the grain" of the brushed links.
