Friday is Bath Night

Decided to give a few watches a bath tonight. Been a while for a couple of them. They feel brand new again!

5712, 5165 and 116500 I have to say that the 5165 is proving to be an incredibly versatile watch. So under the radar and can be worn in any situation (in my opinion). Plus, the rubber strap is incredibly comfortable.

Have a great weekend all.

Thanks guys. Took me a bit to get there...had to kiss a lot of frogs to find the ones I really love.

Rest of the collection gets very little wrist time competing with these three.

Thanks guys. To be honest, I wear one of the three of these everyday (or the Cellini moon phase) but take very good care of them. I have 4 year old twin boys so rule number 1 for keeping them nice is not wearing them around the boys. I have a 5 digit seadweller for kid time.

Rule number 2 is keeping my wife away from them. It makes no sense to me but I have had an explorer 1 since 2006 that barely has a scratch on it. She gets an oyster perpetual in May and it has several already.

For cleaning, I don’t do anything too significant. Soap, warm water and maybe a soft toothbrush if necessary.
