Icon6 5327 Question

I have a 5327 G and dearly love it. The blue strap doesn’t seem to be as shiny as when I got it a month ago. :-( . Does anyone know how to make it nice and shiny?? Thanks

I believe that glossy straps tend to become duller and matte straps tend to become shiny - not sure there is any way around it.

Have you tried polishing with a tiny amount of a beeswax based cream / polish for shiny leather? I use normal leather cream to touch up my matte leather strap.

Even that may only be a temporary solution, from my understanding no matter what you do the shiny alligator strap will dull.

But, in my opinion, the shiny straps that have dulled look beautiful, very classic looking. I have the 5327j and the now dull shiny brown strap looks great with the ivory dial and yellow gold. Looks like a true old age perpetual I love it.

Shiny straps can take on a dull look fairly quickly. Matte is the better way to go next time. Some shiny PP straps hold their finish better depending on which vendor they use for that strap.
