I think it looks best on a two tone jubilee. Always loved the reference and never seen one for sale locally.

Your pics look like the classic ‘greasy finger print’ on the lens. Try wiping the lens with your shirt!

I’m personally not a two tone fan, but for this reference I think the jubilee is most appealing

Did any other watches try to emulate the root beer colour scheme? Plenty of Pepsi Seikos and other brands. Don’t think I’ve seen brown and gold though...

It's a gorgeous watch, I'd be proud to rock it. Thanks for sharing the photo!

Haha, that's probably more correct, not that I'd know personally either. I'm sure I've ready about it in the New Yorker or something

If I had a time machine, I’d go back to 1978 and check under my mattress.

Stick in on a decent brown leather strap. Could be croc two-piece, or horween nato style, perhaps. Or sand suede. The gold oyster doesn't work on steel case.

I think BigBlue1 is just having a little fun triggering us. He posted a lovely pic of his watch on the thread with the gentleman who just purchased the 1675/8 nipple dial. It includes a proper TT oyster bracelet with a purple-ish insert. I really like that combo BigBlue1! Well played...

I really dont like this combination. I'd stick with a TT oyster or jubilee in this case.
