We can say from serial number watch was made 1964/65.

What mean C and I bracelet? Surely not the date code

All I can say from above

I don't care for the bracelet, but I think that the watch Is Awesome!

Thanks for the compliment 1964. The watch belonged to my uncle, a proud vet, silver snoopy award recipient and Air Force Field engineer. He cherished the watch. I wish he knew about this forum, he would have been a regular.

Hello and welcome, your in the right place to have it appraised... it would be worth trying to find photo's of him wearing it during his service times, it looks good to me and hope that others will add to confirming its original. all the very best "H"

Real or fake?

I’m no expert on authentication or anything like that - I just wanted to chime in and say that watch looks awesome. You probably already know this but be very careful if and when you have it serviced, to make sure none of key exterior parts are replaced (dial, bezel, hands, etc). And no polishing!

Cool looking watch.

I would look for a worn but good condition 60s era genuine Rolex bracelet to put it on. I’m guessing those might be expensive though.

First photo, I thought replacement hands (they look much whiter) but 2nd photo all looks good.
Nice vintage piece

Looks a nice watch, braclet doesn't suit it at all though! get it on a strap for now until you can find a period bracelet!

service it and wear it.

Thanks Andrew,
Any recommendations on straps?
Is a 7206 bracelet correct for a 1964?
I love this watch and I’d like to get a period bracelet. You guys/girls are awesome for contributing to this resource. Thank you for having the patience and humility to welcome new people into your community.

Or is the 9315 more appropriate? I assume bracelets have the same patina effect? It has to standout if they don’t match.
