is pam 620 radiomir 42mm a limited edition ?

the title says it all. . i have seen references to the watch being limited to 500 pieces and on the back of the case it says xx/500 but there is no mention of this watch actually being limited on any dealer site or panerai site i can find

thx for any assistance

Not familiar with that model, but I would think the xxx/500 denotes the number in the series. What is the letter prefix before the numerals?

I agree with @jhross98, as Panerai has often numbered the series for a year - sometime they only make that watch for a year and sometime for many more. Interestingly all the publicity photos I can find do not have the numbering, but it is included on replicas, so be careful if you are buying from an unofficial source.

i got mine from jomashop. . .cannot believe it is a fake (full box and papers) but it has the number out of 500 like the picture in this listing

http://www.chrono24.com/panerai/radi...-id3859392.htm

it must be the number in the series ?

going to be selling it or trading it soon and wanted to know if its really limited or not. it does not appear to be. .

Fair enough. As I said, these were publicity shots. Have looked further, and the numbers are present on a few that are/have been for sale.

Why you think it's a fake? Can you post pics please.

Limited? Yes.
All Panerai are numbered and "limited" to the number in the back for that given letter reference.
The one and done watches are called "special editions" and they are made for one run only...
