Help identify this Mont Blanc

A friend of mine was writing with this pen the other day and I have never seen.

I really like it but don't know what model it is and can't find anything like it.
It's a click top, and uses the ballpoint refill. Feels nice and solid like my other Mont Blancs

Does anyone have any information about it?

A question first, this looks like a ballpen, and was a Montblanc refill in the pen?
Is it possible to show the refill with the pen and say a quarter/dime next to it?

Here are some pics next to my starwalker

I'm thinking about buying the pen from him but since I can't find anything like it to estimate a value, as well as verify authenticity

I remember seeing those around 10yrs ago or so..They were very entry level Montblancs...They retailed for $90 at the time. By far the lowest priced pen in the lineup..

They were flops and were retired fairly quickly.

These are very nice additions to a MB collection. And for the price you really can go too wrong.
