i like it. If my AD or the salon would let me buy one i would get one for sure for my 5164A.

They will not let you buy one? Do they want you to have the model for parts being ordered? That would be unfortunate, a blue strap would add some fun to the 5164a!

Blue and gold is a tried and true combo, looks ace! I think a graphite one would be best of all.

It looks great. The Advanced Research model was white gold and a blue strap. The dial is blue also but the black brown dial of the 64 goes great too.

No. You have to own the watch the strap goes on. The salon wouldn’t even sell me an extra black 5164 strap without my watch there. It wasn’t a big deal though because I was going to have them install it anyway

Obviously some people have had luck sourcing them though

That’s the 5168 Strap! I believe they are the same size and color.

I felt like I needed something new. So I figured why not change the strap

I went to the diamond district and offered to trade an extra RM strap I had. The dealer was more than happy to do the deal. One man’s trash is another man’s treasure

Yup! Fit like a glove. The straps are exactly same size.

My AD is by the book though, but i may try again at some point.

Well, guess he spoke too soon. Patek would not send him one for the 5164a, only black or brown. Oh well!
