Yes, in theory, but there again I had a DD and loved it but I sold it, in fairness I had a DD2 and when the DD40 came out I did prefer that one's proportions and then the RG 5711 came out so I traded over to that.

Nice GO. Saw this in Vienna. Tempted to buy. But too close resemblance to my Grand Lange Moonphase.

The PP and VC you want are two time zone watches. Different mold from the DD.

Of the three, i prefer the DD.

I like the plain three hand Overseas.

No problem haha. I'm over it and I got back at her where it hurts. She was too busy trying to take the money but I had my eyes on the real prize, our son. Child support alone would've let her lived comfortably for the next twenty years without having to work and she wouldn't have been a responsible mother.

I've just started rebuilding my collection. I actually held the silver dual time in my hands just yesterday at the AD. In my opinion the color blends too much with the SS. I like the black/blue dials for the contrast but that's just me. They also had a black dial chrono that I tried on that I thought looked pretty good too. The silver dial is pretty reflective with a almost sunburst effect. The black and blues are more matte. So take that into consideration depending on your tastes

To be honest I'm not a fan of that Patek pilot but then again I don't think I've ever been a fan of pilot style watches. The styles just doesn't exude luxury but that's just to me. If anything I would say the overseas is more comparable to say the nautilus and aquanaut. The pilot to me is just a whole another category.

The aquanaut dual time is pretty nice but don't really know if it's good value at the price point. Have you considered looking into royal oaks? I'm also on the hunt for the RO 26331 or even a RO15500

Those RO:s are stunning pieces!! Too many choices... I am on my way downsizing and getting the pieces that I truly want. The problem is that mind changes from time to time...
You might be right with the Patek Pilot, it is very different. That is part of the appeal.
I should see that VC Overseas dual-time with black dial! The contrats seems to be perfect there.
That DD with meteorite dial is the one which I am thinking more now... You had this, right? How was it; the legibility?

I had the 36mm yg. I had no problems with legibility at all. They're my favorite kind of Rolex dial because of how unique they are. To me it looks like the dial was glazed over with reflective ice. The one thing I would say about meteorite dials is that it would be a good to try and compare multiple examples of them.
All meteorite dials are unique so the patterns will all vary. It's hard to describe but you'll know which patterns you like better once you see them in person

Hi,

The VC Overseas Dualtime with the blue dial was on display at Lindroos and I almost bought it.

Unfortunately only thing that kept me from buying it, was that I just don’t have enough money at the moment to spend for a watch, because well, I just bought a new car and my wife... yada yada yada.

But anyway, I think it’s an amazing piece and you should go and have look at it if it’s still there. It was reserved for me till 30.11. so it might still be at the store and say Hi to Sofia from me.

If you’re going to go PP dual time, I’d go aquanaut. Otherwise, blue or black dial VC dual time! I’m partial to the blue...

I do like that pilot’s watch from PP, but I think I prefer it in the smaller “mid size”
