Best discount I can expect on 116610 at AD

So between a 116622 and a 116610LV, I think the Hulk will be my next purchase! :-)

What kind of a discount would be best case st an AD? 10%? 10% off seems to be the asking price on the gray market.

Thanks!

I think it would be pretty difficult to get a discount on a SS Sub from any AD. Gray is your best bet. Good luck.

Doubtful to expect any discount on the LV unfortunately. Lord knows I was not able to get one.

I was offered 18% off the LN for perspective.

Depends on location, AD, timing and other conditions. But 10 percent is not unrealistic from my AD.

Here in Vancouver, BC, ADs don't offer any discount on the LV unless you have a long established relationship (bought a couple of watches before) with them. There's always been a waiting list for this reference.

You can probably get a discount in the US depending on your negotiating skills and AD relationship. Good luck!

Can't hurt to ask. I would be nice and let them know what you are able to get it for online and tell them you would prefer to do business locally. See if they will match or get close.

0% on the LV is what I've heard, especially since it's not at the AD all too often and when they do have one it tends to go quickly.

Check with Takuya, he's in Katy... gray dealer. The owner of Karat22 will deal... he offered me a good discount on the LV and I wasn't even shopping for one nor did I make an effort to negotiate.

Good luck with this.

The AD will likely tell you any Rolex sold online is a counterfeit or has some other issue.

Discounts depend on condition of local economy, what chemistry you have with your salesperson and if you bought from the AD before. That said, the LV is in high demand, but you might wiggle a 5-10% discount, maybe even 15% on a good day. Be nice & courteous, spend some time at the AD, then ask and see what happens. Good Luck! Cheers!

Buy from a trusted seller here. I bought a BNIB Hulk, which was sourced from a US AD for a bit over 8K.
No way will you get that price from AD, unless you have spent several hundred thousands at their store.

The 4 AD's I spoke to in Canada when looking for my Sub didn't have any of those in stock.......so I guess no discount up here.

No Hulks, no Batman, no DSSD, no Daytona's.......everything else you could want was in the case though.

It sounds like you don't want anything other than straight from an AD and I totally understand. You will need to do 3 things: get the cash ready you are willing to pay, go to each AD in your area, negotiate for the best price. If you are taken back from what you hear, maybe expand your budget a bit and do a second round. I will tell you that it seems like a tough negotiation for such a hot model, but you should definitely give it a try.

My advice, never be scared to ask and do it on the day you plan to buy and bring cash. When that doesn't work, ask to speak with the manager and slap the cash in the envelope on the table. Most AD's assume everyone is a "punter" so prove them wrong.

Correct.......this is how you always get the final answer for the question he posted. I used a credit card instead of an envelope full of bills though........same effect.

Recently offered 15% from a local AD on the 116610LN. I think I could have negotiated a little more.
That's also essentially the discount you get buying used from trusted sellers on a SS sub (non hulk).

I would be happy with tax on the house for an LV direct from an AD.

I would agree for any AD in NYC (saw you are from NYC). Most of them look offended that you would even dare ask for a discount on any model. Doesn't have to be Rolex either. Even less liquid companies like Glashutte get no discounts from my experience.

Perks of being an AD in NYC I guess. No shortage of customers buying at or above MSRP.

I call it BS.

20% off $8550 is $6840, which is well below gray market seller price and only $150 over gray market seller's 114060 price.
