16528 18k Daytona zenith movement good deal?

Hey guys, first post around here but been a member for a while. Found an estate piece at a local jeweler wanted to see if it was a good deal or not? Daytona is a watch I do want and I do like the 18k more. However the zenith movement has me confused as some are saying it’s more valuable etc. no papers but a box, looking at $19,500 for it. It’s a 95 thru 99 they are saying, waiting for the serial to confirm that. Thoughts?

Thanks!
Edit:16520 reference not 16528 my bad on the typo

At 19.5 for a PM Zenith seems like a decent pick up...not great deal, but a deal. If they have room to move, might be more appealing. The real demand seems to be the stainless steel white face version.

Agreed on the SS white dials but that's for right now... but gold will always have its day!

I am with OP, daytona's just don't do it for me...If they did, I would make an offer as I think you could get a fair deal on this considering it's a PM daytona with Zenith guts.

Decent if it’s the watch you want I would get it... looks to be in above average condition. Worn but not worn out

Appreciate the replies everyone! I think I’m gonna pass on this unless I’m able
To get the 1983 president 18k they have for sale for a decent price together.
