Yachtmaster II Bezel Swap Question

Does anyone know if it would be possible to swap the bezel on a Yachtmaster II from the blue to the white gold? If so any idea what the bezel would cost?
Thanks
T

Rolex, or Approved Watch Maker won't do it in the US. It would be very, very expensive to do anyway.

I'm ok with Rolex not doing it as were only talking about a bezel, pop one off and pop the new one on. Anyone have any idea what "very very expensive" is?

Good luck, I like the idea, but have no idea on the cost.

As a comparison perhaps, the Subc bezel has popped up from time to time (also rare as a complete set), but generally around the $600/1000 mark when you can find them.

Hope that helps.

Here's two YG ones on the 'bay:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Rolex-yacht-...item20f0b794d8

I assume WG, if available, would cost around the same...

Nice find Richard.
I'd better double that with the added gold content of the WG one, compared to the YG with ceramic insert.

The bezel on a white gold YMII is not white gold, its Platinum. So the cost will be prohibitive if it is even possible to source one at all.
