My DJ is on its way to Chicago to be fixed.
Simple economics at work:
I have two watches need servicing. The sub needs work, the DJ needs work, but I only have the cabbage to do one properly. I chose the DJ because it is my signature watch. Never seen another like it (rare shade of blue -- will post pics later). With the bands in HK being fixed -- they arrived safely -- and the watch being fixed...well, I am excited. Those outside the Rolex fancy don't understand this excitement, but I am looking forward basically to getting a new watch when the parts come together some time next month. Interesting (to me anyway) aside: the guy in Hongkers told me that the end pieces on one of my bands was aftermarket. That's wild. The watch had been to RSC without them having picked it up. Submadatejust, emphasis on datejust. |

Curious as to who you sent the watch to for repairs. Was it Sutter's Watch Repair?
I've used them for a minor adjustment in the past and was very pleased with their interest, concern and knowledge. If not, who? Thanks. |

Looking forward to the photos of your Datejust.
Actually, I am wearing mine this weekend, for a change. Giving the Sub and Daytona a rest and making my DJ feel loved all over again!

Do you think that just moving them to the same side would foster a romance? You sly dog, you!!! But I disagree - he DOES need me. For that all-important wrist time!!!

Are you blind? Isn't it obvious? Look at the glow on Subby as compared with those other two tossers? They are withering away!!

No. On the contrary, he is preparing a welcome message of good wishes.

Yes, that would be a great birthday present. Well, here's hoping it's soon!
