Hello, from Florida....
Thank you for such a simple, informative web site!
I just bought a ss daytona (black) from an AD for quite a bit over retail. But, the papers were open and I know it is not a knock-off. I owned the ss sub w/date before, but gave it to my brother for a graduation gift. I only bought the daytona because it was so "must have." I am thinking about trading back to the sub because it is much less flashy. Any thoughts? Thanks for all the help. jOhN |

Hi John and welcome to TRF, Awwww to trade or not to trade this is the question.... :o) John my advice to you is do what makes you happy. Your going to loose if you take the Daytona back to the AD, if you still have all the papers and such you might be able to flip it and recupe some of the "quite a bit over retail" that you mentioned and buy the Sub.
Don't know what to tell you, other then do what make you happy at this point. |

Hello John and welcome to TRF. I think you will lose a lot if you trade back the Daytona for the sub. Why not see what you can get for it on the open market and then buy the sub.

Welcome to TRF, John. They're both great watches, but only you can decide which one smiles most at you

Hi John,
Welcome to TRF. Between a Daytona and a Sub, I'd opt for the Sub. Try and get as much as you can for the Daytona and only then get yourself the Sub. Good luck - JJ

Dayton and Sub are on two different leagues... trading it for a sub would totally be not worth it.
I guess selling it and getting the most money for it, and use part of the money for a sub. BTW, your brother is one lucky guy to have you as brother!

Welcome to TRF, John. I am adding you to our database of Florida members, in case we come up with a Florida meeting sometime.
Also, you can't go wrong with a Daytona. I love mine!

Welcome to TRF John. I guess you must just pick the one that makes you the happiest. You can't go wrong with either.

On second thought, nah. I'll let the two of you fight it out for gridiron supremacy.
