1, 2, 3...Got it!
Yes..I've got to see action today, for the first time in my life ever, in the bay and..there it is (Pictures are poor quality, slightly modified, from the seller. I promise to come back with some of my own, as soon as the merchandise reaches me):
Not a Rolex, and yes, that last one is "just" a 2824-2 from our friends at ETA, but IŽll be damned if I feel any trace of shame about any of that stuff! Am not a friend of bulky, mean divers but I really justs had to have this one. This is becoming more and more of an addiction... |

Beautiful, why does it remind me of the McQueen Explorer?

Maybe because of the cut and finish on the lugs, of the bulky crown protection and the form and feel of the indexes on that dial and definitely because beauty runs in the family!
Thanks for your comment and have a nice one, SimplyTudor |

Hydronaut is very beautiful watch, my AD has exactly the same model as yours, and it has my name on it (it`s a shame that I`m veeeery slowly recovering from bankruptcy!)
Seriously, fantastic watch, with finish that can be easily compared with ANY SS Rolex, and it slightly reminds me on Yacht-Master! Wear it in a good health and welcome to TRF!

Yes, it is a wonderful model!
I sold this one, though... Good taste abounds. Congratulations on your new addition. |

Hey Craig! Nice try! Is that the 956 UTC from the guys in Frankfurt? That's a serious piece of professional time-keeping. Hope it serves its purpose well with you, my friend.
In terms of homemade stuff, I am more of a Mühle-Glashütte kind of guy. Just not there financially, for the moment.. :) Otherwise, I am absolutely true to the fine pieces manufactured by our neighbors across Lake Constance. |

If I am not mistaken, it's the Sinn 856 Flieger UTC: http://www.sinn.de/en/Modell/856.htm
The heart of this one is the the 2893 from ETA. According to some sources, Sinn only uses top and chronometer grade movements form ETA. Albeit, they do not perform any work on the pieces in house, other than casing them. There are other variations of this watch out there: with rotating bezel-the 857 and with black hard coating-the 856S (military look, also available for the 857). All in all, solid German casing technology, nice manufacturing quality, reliable calibers in good grade from ETA. Not my cup of tea, though...they miss some of the flair and the soul that a watch has to have, in order to make me fall for it. Good luck with your hunts, stay safe and make someone happy today (possibly yourself) SimplyTudor |

Wear it in good health! Love the hour markers on that one.
Here's my Tiger Hydronaut. I wear it everywhere. It's had the snot beat out of it and has never missed a beat. |
