Submariner availability in Paris ?

Do you guys know if inventory for the Hulk is restricted worldwide? I am planning a trip to Paris next week and was wondering what steps I could take now to increase the chance of getting one etc

You probably have zero chance, sorry.

I’m still on a list....from 2012! Didn’t have the heart to tell the AD I got one from David.

No chance. The only sub one might be able to find is the 114060.

In the city no way, but check the airport both inbound and outbound, be sure to ask. I got my sub in April passing through CDG. They had nothing special on a Tuesday, started talking to them Thursday on the way back and they had received a 116610 that day! So luck of the draw on airports, but at least there are no lists!

I agree.. you have to get lucky. I got my SD43 by calling a dealer that just got stock. Even though they have a waiting list, if you are there money in hand, they may sell to you.

If you are going to Nice check the Rolex dealer there. I was there last fall and the AD told me no lists-they sell them as they arrive!

For those that say I have no chance, why do you say that? Is it because there is indeed a shortage worldwide? Or is Paris in particular pretty dry for SS models?

Everywhere is dry of SS. If there was a shangri-la where they were plentiful the hungry horde would have swooped in and picked it clean aeons ago. You have next to no chance I'm afraid.

Inventory is not restricted there is just so much demand for this piece that ADs have a lot of options on how to get maximum dollar for the sale; bundling, VIPs, Grey bundling, so your only chance is to give them a reason to sell to you instead.
