Are these new 2020 JLC Models?

Don’t recall seeing them before. Pictures taken from the JLC website (China Mainland). Standard date and Memovox versions. Prices look to be around $13k and $20k (using the Yuan price conversion).

Thanks for posting. Dial looks like the North American limited edition from last year. I always meant to buy that one.

A new model is being launched tomorrow (October 1st).
This is probably the one.

EUR 17K for the Memovox. See I remember when you could get an Aquanaut/Royal oak for that money

It’s a Polaris mariner edition...like having a submariner mariner edition, makes no sense to me and the price is dumb. They had a hard time selling the last memovox edition Polaris and it was several thousand less. Jaeger could do so well but this Polaris line ain’t it

Why they haven’t re-released the Deep Sea is beyond me. What a great looking watch that is.

Their latest Master Control release was nice but the dial options were very bland.

JLC have so much going for them and I firmly believe there’s an appetite in the market for them - but their recent releases have been quite poor (the Master Calendar Chrono being the exception to that).

I believe the Polaris date retails for $11K. I would think it should cost about half that. And I am a big JLC fan.

Pretty watches, too big for me but will work for many. The pricing though will likely make them a failure in the market place... Crazy...

I actually love it!
My only gripe (other than price, ouch) is the crown for the internal unidirectional bezel is screw down, but the other crowns aren’t. How weird is that?
Does anyone know if the water resistance is still good if the crowns come out accidentally?

Would be winners if 4-5k cheaper and come with rubber straps.

I like this but the one that catches my attention the most is the new Master Control Geographic. However that has an MSRP of $12,600 and a little too expensive for my blood. Funny how I would not hesitate to buy a Rolex in this bracket but will argue with myself when it comes to JLC.

I had chance to check them out this weekend.

They sit nicely on the wrist and feels very comfortable. The dials are impressive in the flesh - there's lots going on with them.

My main concern would be the significant amount of polished finishes. For a sports watch I think that's a bad move.

A rubber option and several thousand $$ cheaper and this would be a great option.

A great watch for, like, $7K. The MSRP is ridiculous. JLC used to be a great bargain for those in the know, but now the company is losing its track. What's next? JLC steel model shortage?
