Finally pulled the trigger...FOIS in hand w/ 1125 bracelet and 560 end links

So I finally pulled the trigger on what I call a "proper" Speedmaster. I had a Speedmaster Reduced previously that I just never wore. It was a great watch but something about it wasn't for me so I sold it earlier this year.

Just took delivery of this on Friday and today received in the mail a nice shiny 1125 with 560 end links.

I think it looks spectacular...and this will be worn for the next 18 years before I give it to one of my children when they turn 18.

Agreed! I picked up a canvas strap that I’ll try next...followed by a few natos.

Yours is looking nice!

Nice! Sorry to change the subject. I know the FOIS has 19mm lugs. Will the 1125 bracelet fit a 42mm Speedmaster Pro using different endlinks? What number end links would it need? Is all obtainable from a boutique or does one really have to do some hunting?

I've heard the 1171 is better for this. I've seen where that bracelet with 677 links works fairly well...not sure about posts on this forum but a google search will probably yield some good options.

Some say 633 end links but those may be too big and require some customization?

Congrats on your Speedy pick up. Your Speedy looks great! I want a Speedy and keep going back and forth between a FOIS and Pro. That bracelet on the FOIS is starting to win me over as I like the vintage look it has.
