Thanks guys! Still enjoying this watch just as much as the day I picked it up. The entire Moonphase lineup is great. The aventurine takes it up a notch further even. I definitely recommend them. This one has been a real joy. Last day on steel today. Throwing it back on leather for the season tomorrow

Makes it easier to pickup, tried it on in person and loved it. Found them online BNIB for 9.7 which is nuts. When you throw the leather on throw up a pic / nice shot !

I'll get a pic up for you tomorrow buddy. Yeah definitely don't spend 9.7 on this watch. In terms of quality and material it's worth it, but you can get them second hand for $6K-7K in really good condition. I have even seen them <$6K on rare occasions.

You remembered! Love this on the strap too. I’ll have to prioritize the aventurine dial version now

I was holding off for the Snoopy release. Didn't want to commit to any white or light color dial watch until seeing the new Snoopy. Now that I've seen it and had a chance to digest it I believe I will be heading back to the white SMP camp. Love the Snoopy but I already have a Speedy that I love. Some of the reasons I got rid of my Moonwatch are still on the Snoopy and I fear will still bother me - manual wind and lack of date specifically. I'll keep an eye out for a white SMP but has to be priced right either at the AD or second hand. No big hurry on this one. My AD does "friends and family" discounts around Thanksgiving so I may hold out till then and see what they offer.

I just watched the Omega launch video of the new 2020 Snoopy, looks like it might very well be the next one to add.

I'm the same...I sold my speedy pro (as well as most of my other watches, was down to 3, back up to 5) because I got sick of the manual wind and have the same color scheme with my 114060. I do love the new snoopy a lot...and I don't mind manual winds, but I haven't looked closely enough to see if the crown guards will shred my fingers like the moon watch. I may go with an El Primero instead...or at least until I find snoopy on the secondary market for a discount (my AD doesn't think they'll get more than 2 snoopys, which are spoken for, so I'm not thinking I'll be able to get a discount on one...unless an extra shows up, then that's a different story).

On a side note, speaking of shredding fingers, holy crap is the B01 on my navitimer hard to wind. Puts the speedy's difficulty to shame!

That El Primero is a neat watch. I looked into them a few times over the years. Love the placement of the dials. I didn't find the Moonwatch real bad to wind, I just got tired of doing it. My Moonphase is really not much easier to wind, but at least I don't have to do it very often.

Got my wife a 34 mm Hamilton a few years ago. It is the type with a small crown where you wind the watch in the closed position. Absolutely miserable to wind. Can't get a grip and the gasket puts pressure on it so it doesn't turn easily or consistently. Just a pain. I do my best to keep it on the winder just to avoid it.
