Explorer II 16570 black or white dial?

White.

Edit: For what it’s worth, I can’t remember his name, but there’s an actual expedition Explorer on the forum and he says the best color for the arctic is black. If that kind of authentic feedback helps.

I went black dial and don’t regret it. I find it more versatile in terms of when it can be worn.

Had both multiple times. I settled in black. White is popular around here but black in general I feel is more versatile. However nothing wrong with the white. Both are nice and on this reference it comes down to personal preference.

The white dial balances the "smaller" size, making the watch wear a tad bigger imo. The white also makes the wart less noticeable. And lastly, for whatever reason, I find the white dial easy to read at a glance.

Whichever you prefer. I can't tell you what you like. I like white. I have a Polar and absolutely love the hell out of it. But I'm not you.

I think white just makes Exp II unique. If you want a black dial sports Rolex there are plenty other options to choose from. And IMO many of them look better. Whereas white is unique.

Had both together and I think the white was a better overall package so I preferred it a little more but both were sensational

I have both. The polar is eye catching but the black has an understated cool. I recently also got a 217570 in black because for me, in that size, the white was TOO eye catching. Plus black makes the orange hand pop more.
