Absence does make the heart grow fonder...
I don’t think I have worn this one since March (not a good watch with 6 year old twin boys) but put it on today and was instantly reminded how awesome the 5712 is.

It's an amazing feeling indeed! I pulled out the 5711 a couple weeks ago for the first time in ages and got goosebumps all over again.

That's what a keeper watch should do, after not wearing it for a while it should wow and surprise you all over again, that's when you know.

I also haven't worn my 5712 for close to 1 year. I'm not sure why but there is no desire to wear it. I should wear this watch more often.

Thanks all. It is a great watch and wearing it again reminds me of that.
When working in the office pre-COVID this one got a lot more wrist time but working from home now with my young kids around has changed my watch wearing habits. My oysterflex Daytona has gotten a lot more wrist time. And I picked up two FPJs just before prices went crazy. Hard to decide each day now. |

Absolutely beautiful. Love that model. Dont own one but want one. I know the feeling though. I am wearing my SDK after a non stop affair with my SkyD.
