That's a beauty. Congrats. I did the same with my Hulk. Sub C date, on the other hand, is still sitting duck.

Oh yeah, bow-tie, when using the wrong screwdriver meets too much applied torque.

IMO it should have never been sitting waiting to flip...but to each their own.
Enjoy.

As Roman says, watches are expensive toys, not investments.

That’s not what he said. It had to get mailed to him therefore he had to do the sizing himself. He was too busy at first to size it. That’s why there was a delay to wear it. The $3000 comment was just a joke.

Bow-tie screw head: you either know what it is or have what it is.

^^^ What he said. The delay was two days as was VERY busy getting out the largest magazine we have ever produced. It gives our Staycation loyal global readers over the past 25 years more to enjoy during these times.

Agree with the critic, as timepieces are for joy and using

Thanks and she's great! Have seen posts on TRF where the wrong screwdriver / too much force was applied and so yeah, bow-tie screw head. Never happened to me due to using the proper Rolex tool and common sense screw head torque.

Awesome score OP.

Yes, the few grand either way on a luxury time piece use to not even be spoke of as it being vulgar and insignificant to the ownership experience. How times have changed.
